Congratulation to Dave Walls and Doug Hensel
Congratulation to Dave Walls and Doug Hensel for being recipients of the 2010 ASPA Government Innovation award! Dave and Doug received this award for their stellar work in bringing together the CALGREEN Team and working with all stakeholders to successfully adopt CALGREEN as the first statewide Green Building Code in the nation! The “stakeholders” also included the numerous ICC chapters, committees, and building officials throughout the state that participated to develop a green building code that works at the local level.
ASPA, the American Society for Public Administration, annually recognizes individuals for their extraordinary contributions to public service. This achievement certainly measures up to the high standards ASPA requires for awards recognition.
