OES Disaster Service Worker Card Online
The following information will help
to allow you to renew your “OES Disaster Service Worker Card
online”. Check your expiration dates. There may be a thirty day
grace period. The online information is very good!
Your Safety
Assessment Program ID Card will soon expire. Please take the SAP
Refresher Course on line in order to remain in the program. You can
access the Refresher Course by means of the following steps:

Go to
www.oes.ca.gov.

Click on the
"Training" or "Response" header, then the "Safety Assessment
Program" link.

Scroll down
to the "SAP Evaluator Refresher Training" link.

In the
"Name" box, scroll down and select your name.

In the "SAP
ID Number" box, type in your five-digit SAP ID number (found in
the upper left corner of your SAP ID badge. Omit any letters.)

Select
"Submit."

Please
review your contact information that we have on you at the
"Update Information" section that first appears on this page.
If you need to update your contact information, such as address,
phone numbers, or email address, please do so. Once you are
satisfied with your contact information, please select "Save and
Exit," then click on the red exit box in the upper right hand
corner of the resulting screen. You will be returned to the
original "Update Information" page. Then scroll down that page
and select the SAP Evaluator Refresher Training link (it says
"click here").

Review the
course material, paying special attention to those items marked
as "new," and working through the exercises.

At the end
of the course, click on the "Final Exam" link to take the Final
Exam.

Complete the
First Name, Last Name, and (SAP) ID# boxes and select the
continue arrow.

Answer all
the questions. The system will tell you if you failed a
question and what section of the course material to review.
Please make a note of these sections as you proceed.

At the end,
the system will tell you if you passed the exam. It
automatically sends an email to OES, who will produce a new SAP
ID card and send it to you.

If you fail
the exam, please look over the sections in the Refresher Course
that you did not do well in, and retake the exam. You can
retake the exam as often as is necessary.
