Jack Atkins Scholarship Recipients
 
Each year the Sacramento Valley Association of Building Officials (SVABO) offers the Jack Atkins Scholarship, established in the memory of John “Jack” Atkins, a long time member and past President of the SVABO.  Jack believed in the value of education for everyone, and that learning should have no limits. Eligibility is limited to members of the International Code Council (ICC) or SVABO, or an immediate family member of an ICC or SVABO member.  Applicants must have an educational goal and be enrolled or enrolling in a college, trade school or other educational institution. Awards are limited to $1,000 per person.  The application period begins on March 1 and concludes at midnight May 31.  Applications are available on this Web site during the application period.
